Stoelting veteran named director of engineering
KIEL, WI – Stoelting Foodservice, a division of The Vollrath Company and manufacturer of frozen dessert equipment, announced the promotion of Aamer Mohammed to director of engineering.
Mohammed joined the company in 2005 as a product development engineer and was promoted to manager of engineering in 2009. Mohammed’s success as the leader of the engineering department at Stoelting has led to his instrumental role in driving product innovation, delivering successful products to market, and helping Stoelting establish a competitive advantage through its state-of-the-art products.
His contributions to the new product development process and technology have resulted in the vitality index of over 30 percent at Stoelting. His team has successfully launched many innovative products and technological advancements, including IntelliTec2™ and I3 controls, variations of the F231 Soft Serve/Yogurt Freezer, the AutoVend system of customized frozen treats, and a number of portion control systems.
In his new position, Mohammed will continue to lead the engineering department in fulfilling the Stoelting brand promise with greater responsibility to help drive Stoelting products and technology to the next level. He will play a key role in driving innovation and design – development of new products and improvement of existing products – that has a direct positive impact on Stoelting’s financial position and brand value.
Mohammed holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. As a valued member of the Stoelting leadership team, Mohammed will continue to report to Rich Koehl, General Manager.
