Sheboygan, Wis. – Vollrath Company, a leader in the foodservice equipment industry, and Chefs’ Toys, a TriMark Company, joined forces to sponsor the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Throwdown Culinary Competition held in California on January 24, 2020.
Two student/teacher teams competed head-to-head for the title of Throwdown Chef Champions. The culinary teams used Vollrath’s Mirage induction ranges and induction cookware to prepare their dishes. The teams also had a selection of cooking tools provided by Chefs’ Toys to use during the competition to create their masterpieces.
The entire event was fashioned after the format of famous TV cook-offs, featuring a cast of popular hosts and judges.
