Control settings include temperature readings with 0.1-degree accuracy

Sheboygan, Wis. –  Vollrath’s Immersion Circulators offer enhanced performance and simplicity to produce consistently reliable results for sous vide cooking. The digital display shows temperature readings with 0.1-degree accuracy with a maximum temperature of 203°F (95°C). An audible timer indicates when the unit is up to temperature as well as when the cooking cycle is completed. Increased wattage speeds up start-up times up to 25 percent and digital controls allow up to five cook settings at a time that can be pre-programed for repeatable results.

Products cooked with the sous vide method don’t need to be constantly supervised and as an added safety measure, the new immersion circulators include a low water switch that protects the equipment by shutting off the unit when the water level is too low.

These compact units are available as a complete cooking unit with a head, water bath and cover or as a head only that is clamped to an existing bath or well. The immersion circulators complement Vollrath's In-Chamber and Out-of-Chamber Vacuum Pack machines and Cayenne® Charbroilers to provide a complete sous vide prep and cooking solution.
